My grandson used this float several years ago. The first time his mom and I tried to put him into this float he just cried and cried. Did not want to go in the water at all. So we tried putting him in the float inside the house with all his toys, and gradually worked our way out to the pool. Eventually he was okay with being in the pool, and this float kept him upright and we could load up the tray with his favorite bath toys which helped entice him into the float. He just loved it after awhile, we just had to be patient and stay close by. We put him in the swim sweater the next season and this year he took "big kid" swim lessons at the Y and is now a little fish!

I got this for my daughter and she get so excited when she is in the water. This float would tip over when fully inflated which causes a hazard. I would not recommend this product for younger babies under 3 years old.
