Swim Vest 

I have twin boys 26 months old. I bought these vests two months ago and have had very different experiences with each boy. One boy is 20.5 pounds and the other is 29.5 pounds. The lighter boys LOVES the vest and now loves the pool and I am comfortable watching him play while I sit at the side of the pool. However, the heavier boys sinks in the water over his head. After doing this twice (with me right next to him) he is now petrified of the water and the vest. I have added foam to his vest and sewn it in. Now he is buoyant in the water, but he is still too afraid to get into the pool, and he still doesn't want anything to do with the vest. Ugh! I fault the manufacturer for not making weight limits clear. Please wish me luck with my heavier son.

My swim vests must be defective as I purchased this item at a retail store about a month ago for both my daughter (28 lbs) & son (29 lbs). This device does not allow for the parents to let go of the child with them going under. I'm a little disappointed with the purchase and can not return as the retailer told me the item was used as I had removed the packaging....

This has been the best swim vest. My son has used it for 3 years and it gave him the independence to learn how to swim on his own. He could do anything the big kids could do which really helped his confidence.

LOVE THIS VEST!!! My grandson used this vest for about two years. He could go all over the pool, jump in the deep end and do everything the big kids were doing with confidence. It gave me peace of mind when he was on the other side of the pool that he could swim across to me without assistance.
