Product Instructions

Jet Valve™ inflation is designed for quick air release, making the float extra easy to deflate.

To inflate both air chambers:

  1. Remove valve cap and pull out stem to open.
  2. Inflate air chamber by mouth.
  3. Immediately after inflating, cover valve opening with index finger and press the stem of the valve into float to lock the seal.
  4. Replace valve cap, pressing down firmly.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the second air chamber.
To deflate and store:
  1. Remove valve cap and pull out stem to release air. Deflate float before folding.
  2. Hold float, as shown below, palms facing out. Bring your hands together in front of you.
  3. Overlap your hands and float will automatically close into 3 small circles.

Over a number of years I've bought at 8 or 9 Swimways floats, sunseats and recliners, and I'm about to buy another two (replacements). I love the comfort, styling, ease of storing and (my) blue- turquoise color combination - a subtle statement in a dark blue pool. But I'm disappointed that the two most recently purchased recliners developed leaks in the footrests after minimal use. Please Swimways, make your air bladder seams stronger and reinforce the seams where mesh meets frame. I'm delighted to see that you now offer dog floats of strudy fabric; that would have saved two floats last summer when granddog visited. ***Response from SwimWays: Thank you for reviewing our products! We have sent your comments about the experience you had with the Recliners you recently purchased to our customer service team for follow-up. You can also reach them directly at 1-800-889-7946. Let us know how your granddog likes the Spring Float Paddle Paws!***

I have had several of these recliners and I love the design and comfort. One began to leak after someone put pressure on the inner side of the footrest for a prolonged period of time. A second one snapped the the outer ring when I tried to fold it up at the end of the season however I have had great use out of them for 8 years! I notice that shops in my area seem to have discontinued carrying this particular product while they continue to stock other Swimway products and I hope they bring them back.

Had 2 of these for 5 years with no problems. So I purchased 3 new ones for guest but after 2 months 1 started to leak after very easy use. Older ones were evidently made better. An the store has no replacements at the end of summer ***Response from SwimWays: We are very sorry to hear that one of your floats leaked and that you were not able to get a replacement from the store. Our customer service team is sending you a new recliner this week. You may also reach out to our customer service team directly at 1-800-889-7946. I bought three of these recliners, and was very disappointed. After 2 weeks, of normal use, all three ripped and leaked air. ALL THREE! I took them back to the store, replaced them with the only two left, and guess what, it only took a week and POOF! ripped again. We do not have children, so they were not roughly used. All we do is float in the sun. Very unhappy. ***Response from SwimWays: We are very sorry to hear about the performance of the Recliners you purchased, and have passed your information to our customer service team for follow-up. You may also reach out to our customer service team directly at 1-800-889-7946. Our lines are open Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. ***

Love, love, love this float. I had one like this for 10 years and it finally gave out so I purchased this one and the one with the canopy. I use them everyday and would highly recommend them.
