Product Instructions

Jet Valve™ inflation is designed for quick air release, making the float extra easy to deflate.

To inflate:

  1. Remove valve cap and pull out stem to open.
  2. Inflate air chamber by mouth.
  3. Immediately after inflating, cover valve opening with index finger and press the stem of the valve into float to lock the seal.
  4. Replace valve cap, pressing down firmly.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 for the second air chamber.
To deflate and store:
  1. Remove valve cap and pull out stem to release air. Deflate float before folding.
  2. Hold float as shown below, palms facing out. Bring your hands together in front of you.
  3. Overlap your hands and float will automatically close into 3 small circles.

Product Care

Rinse with fresh water to remove salt and chlorine. Store out of direct sunlight.

We bought our pair of SpringFloats 8 yrs ago @ Walmart. I rinse them off everytime we use them & let them dry before putting them away. This month we stayed @ The Fountains in Orlando & when a storm blew in we were told to get out of the pool & take shelter. I put a Springfloat between 2 chairs & left it for 5 minutes as everyone else left at the same time. When I went back to get it, someone had stolen it. I wanted to replace it but after reading all the reviews about the current products, I have changed my mind. Sam Walton must be spinning in his grave over all the Chinese crap sold in Walmart & Sam's Club stores now. When you bring jobs back to America, send me a notice & I may become a customer again.

I purchased the Swimways raft over 10 yrs ago from Sams Club. it was two for about $30. They have held up until last year. The mess has torn and the frame has loss is circle frame. I have been very pleased with them and have not been able to find them in the store. I went on lone and read the reviews and now I am concern. First, the price has doubled and only for one and it seems as if the quality has went down. I did enjoy the ability to be in the water and still be able to tan. I am not sure if i am willing to spend so much money just for one raft.

I was given the spring floats as a gift about 5 years ago. Last fall both got holes in them due to a palm branch with thorns falling on them and puncturing them. So I purchased a new set at Wal-Mart this spring. Wow, hat a shock, the are not the same at all. They curl once you get on them and you feel like you are in a cocoon. I took them back to Wal-Mart and got 2 new ones. Same thing, the curl up. Now one seems to be hissing air at the pillow. Also, I was trying to have a relaxing float the other day and the plug blew out, sending me sinking into the water. Never had this happen before with the old ones. I do not like the poor quality of these. I called the 1-800 number and the representative could not have not cared less. She told me that that’s how they are now. Oh well, great customer service.

I am so happy to have found all these reviews. When we first started buying these floats, about nine years ago, we thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. We live in Costa Rica and we use them year 'round in our swimming pool. They used to last about 18 months; and it was most likely a windstorm sending them flying into a cactus that caused any problem. Now, the two we opened three months ago are ready for the garbage -- they take water into the linings, the slightest pressure puts a hole in the mesh, the airplugs don't hold. We thought it must be abuse on our end. Now we are convinced it is a significant deterioration of the quality of the product. It's sooooo too bad. We loved these things and have told so many of our friends about them. I came on-line this afternoon to order two more; but reading these reviews I can see that the problem isn't our treatment of the floats; so I won't be spending more money on them until I am certain they have returned to the quality we enjoyed in the early years. Swimways, let me know when you've found a better quality producer. Maybe "Made in the USA" is the way to go. China has let you (and your customers) down.

I have bought three of these this summer (June 2011) All three have been defective! When aired up they are lop sided and curled up around me in the pool, one would not hold air either. I have taken two back and will take the last one back also! I purchased these at Walmart in New Boston, Ohio-Evidently they got a whole shipment of defective ones! I had one that I purchased 6 years ago-It was great, finally the mesh rotted from so much use in the pool.
