A great pool toy indeed. I see that there is 2 reviews both with bad experiences. Well, I will have to say it requires a little bit of practice to get the frog to glide 20ft across the water. Our pool is only 16ft round but I have no doubt that it will go farther than 20ft. Our 6 year old daughter loves her's. Number #64 rubber bands can be bought at staples for far less than the price of one frog. If you are breaking the rubber bands, you are pulling it back way too far. Dangerous you say? Yes! Dangerous as a lawn dart...NO! If you hurt yourself with this thing, you probably deserved it! Use some common sense... Never launch it toward anybody. We have 3 of them and we play with them nearly every time we get in the pool with no injuries. ***NOTE*** If your kid is uncontrollable at times, DON'T TURN THEM LOOSE WITH ONE OF THESE! People with no common sense seem to ruin the fun for everybody. They banned 3 wheelers and kite tubes for the same reason. Enough said!

This toy says 5 and up, but I'm 40 and I say it's too dangerous for anyone to use! I bought it to use with my nephews in the pool while on vacation last week and when we pulled the rubber band back, it didn't launch or skip across the water at all, as suggested on the packing. It just jumped about a foot then sunk every time we tried it. Until the final attempt, when I released it, it hit the inside of my wrist at what felt like 100 mph and popped my blood vessel. My wrist swelled up immediately with a golf ball sized purple bump. It hurt super bad and my sister and I were scared by the way it looked and the pain it caused. It has been exactly a week since this happened and my wrist is still sore and very bruised. I am just glad this happened to me and not my 5 year old nephew when he was playing with it. I was not abusing the toy or using it inappropriately - I only pulled it back to launch it as suggested and this injury happened. Be careful if you plan on using this toy. You might just want to toss the frog part into the pool instead - it will probably go farther than with the rubber band and be a lot safer. ***Response from SwimWays: We are very sorry to hear about your experience with this product and will consider your feedback as we investigate further. The rubber band broke as I was showing my kids how to use it. Thought if I tied it that I could use it, but after I tied it and tried again the rubber band broke in a different spot. When I pulled on the rubber band again it broke in another spot. So, as for the toy I couldn't tell you how well it works because we didn't even get a chance to try it. ***Response from SwimWays: We are very sorry you experienced this issue with your Froggerz toy!
