We received as a gift. It works sporadically. My son loves it. Wish it worked.

Ours stopped working after its first use. They replaced it and our second one did the same thing. They refuse to do a refund so I have now requested a third replacement. The battery compartment is not waterproof. I would also agree with the other reviews that it doesn't really zoom. Very disappointing.

I agree with other reviews that it doesn't really "zoom" across the water, but ours stopped working within 3 months of minimal use. Very disappointed.

For the price I know I can’t expect too much from it but I am a bit disappointed. Basically to notice it gliding across the water (and that’s what it does is gently glides it does not “zoom across the water”) the water has to be still and calm. That’s a bit of a task for kids to notice if they’re moving around and splashing. I even tried it in the bath tub with calmer water, and I think it needs a bit of a stronger motor for that extra (and more noticeable) push! It’s ok if you just want a toy that floats around, but if you want it to “zoom across the water” then you need to invest more into some other toy.
